The Come Back Man
When I first came across Charlie and his Transformation Factory, I had just finished having surgery on my knee.
It was a dark period with much time spent in the dark. I wondered about my place in the world.
Then I came across Charlie and his Factory in my FB feed.
I noticed regular people like me all day online sharing their stories and actively working towards seeing their goals completed.
It made me feel that just because I was feeling unmotivated, that did not mean the world stopped turning, that people stopped trying.
It inspired me to finally head outside, I walked a little bit the first day, the next day jogged, starting engaging more with the group, the next day I ran, and to this day I’ve kept on running. As I've continued running, I've gone back to my job and I realized that the world doesn’t need anymore people who feel down, the world needs motivated, excited people who get through day by day.
Today I run through Griffith Park about 20 miles a week, and am a positive example to my daughter, which is the most important thing I can possibly be.
Thanks Charles, forever grateful.
